Jan Taylor: Olivier award

So disappointed for Richard hopefully there will be some recognition of his amazing talent soon.

He's the winner in our eyes and I'm sure he was very excited to get such a prestigious nomination.

Brandy: Next role

Hi Chrissy, that's exactly what I thought myself! Richard as James Bond would also be a nice alternative to all the "John's" 8-D.

Chrissy: Next role

I think Richard would be superb as, of course, James Bond, that goes without saying, but also as Heathcliff. In fact anyone tall dark and handsome!

Chrissy: Thunderbirds

Just watching new Thunderbirds, they should make it with real actors, Richard would be perfect as Scott, handsome action hero, dark hair, blue eyes.......!

adelbert: Wolverine

Hugh Jackman has said that he will not be portraying the Wolverine again. I think Richard should be the next Wolverine.!!!!

evangeline ahad: The Crucible

Richard can do anything he wants to do. Would he consider doing the play: Galileo by Brecht? It is science and religion, controversial wrapped up in conscience and recantation, if not fame and fortune.

Anne Richter: Thanks to Susie

Thanks to Susie for the fine summary to The Crucible. Anne Fingers crossed for the Olivier's. I'm simply a 'nervous wreck' concerning this.

Susie: Crucible and interview with Richard

I bought The Crucible to watch and was simply blown away by not just Richard's acting, but by the whole cast. It was absolutely superb. I didn't think I would feel the emotion that you would experience if watching it 'live' but I was wrong. There were no fancy costumes, or sets, but it relied on the raw acting skills of those involved. Much must be attributed to good direction, but also spot on casting of the roles. I think if Richard can pull the role of John Proctor off he can pretty much tackle anything! Enjoyed the full interview with Richard (also downloaded via Digital Theatre). For some reason he seemed to sound more 'northern',(not so posh) but perhaps that's because the cast speak that way and it can sometimes be catching. I was amused to learn that Richard had somehow managed to have a crafty pee on stage without anybody noticing (or maybe they did!) He seemed to be more at ease in his own skin. Long may this man continue in his chosen craft. I must admit I'm not so sure about his playing a monk and hope he doesn't end up with a basin hair cut, with a bald patch in the middle!!!!
