Strike Back DVD available to pre-order
The DVD of Strike Back is now available to pre-order from Play.com or from Amazon.co.uk. Note: although the price is cheaper through Play, if you order from Amazon UK via the RAOnline website then commission will be given to charity.
The DVD is due to be released on 14 June 2010.

Does anyone know when Spooks 8 will come out in Region 1 format? I have a region free play, just a cheap one, but if given the chance I would prefer to order a DVD formatted for my region.

Thanks SO much, Angieklong! I’ve been wanting to see “Sparkhouse”, too! That’s a great tip–I’ll look into getting one of those region-free players. Thanks! The more Richard, the better! Or, as I say at home..Richard Armmmmmm-itage! LOL:)

Just pre-ordered Strike Back. Can’t wait. I live in the US and have a region-free DVD player. It’s great. I have been able to see Richard’s other work with it.

I live in the U.S. but I have a region-free DVD player and it has proven a great (and very reasonable) investment, christina. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to see some of Richard’s great work, like “Sparkhouse.” Also, I have discovered I can play foreign DVDS right here on my laptop using the VLC media player. ( :

I too will be pre-ordering the DVD and am impressed with the artwork – although it does say that it’s subject to change. I am intrigued that it’s already being advertised when the series hasn’t been shown yet. This must be the fastest ever ( although it is quite common for DVD’s to be released simultaneously with some shows, so that they’re available immediately). Like angieklong, I would like to see it on TV,but I need to invest in SKY first.

will it really be released before Spooks 8?
Reply from admin: Yes, Spooks 8 DVD will be released on 11 October, just like last year when the DVD was released to coincide with the broadcast of the next series on BBC TV.

I, of course, will be pre-ordering NOW. I am like Pavlov’s dog re any project with Richard . . . *sigh* Love that artwork. Of course, I am hoping I will be able to see it when it airs in April, too, as I am also greedy and impatient when it comes to the Divine One. ( ;
