Horsted Keynes Station: Outwood Station and Midland Central Station

This was used as the location for Outwood Station, where Margaret Hale says goodbye to her brother Frederick and they are spotted by Mr Thornton and shortly after, Leonards.

This station is also used in the last scene of the drama where Margaret and John meet by chance at Midland Central station.

Horsted Keynes in Sussex is the site of the Bluebell Railway. There is mention of North and South filming on this page.
